Digital Repository of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council

The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa makes the metadata for its collections available to anyone interested.

This server, Meta, is the open-access repository for the collections managed by the Culture and Basque Language Department of the Council. Ongoing work is making new catalogs and collections available here. The repository is browsable through this web interface, but more importantly, the data is available through the OAI-PMH protocol for cultural metadata exchange.

Most of the contents described by the metadata in this repository are directly accesible in digital form. Whenever the contents themselves have been produced by the Council, or when the Council holds the full distribution rights to contents created by others, they are made available under licenses that favor free access and creative reuse(Creative Commons).
